Oreo Truffles

This recipe is a huge crowd pleaser and super easy and quick to make! I’ve made the truffles using many different types of Oreos and switched the coating and they were all delicious. The other truffle recipes will be appearing here soon!

Oreo Truffles

2/3 pack of Oreos (frosting scraped out from inside)
6 oz softened cream cheese (2/3 block of the 8oz)
2 cups white chocolate chips (to be melted)
½ cup milk chocolate chips

-Take the already scraped out Oreo cookies and either blend them in food processor until they are a soft smooth grain or place in a Ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin until you get that fine texture

-Pour the blended cookies in a bowl and add softened cream cheese, mix well until you get a non sticky dough

-Take the dough and roll it into 1-inch balls and place on a tray lined with parchment paper (this avoids the stickiness)

-Freeze for about 20 mins

-Melt white chocolate and one by one drop the Oreo balls in the white chocolate (you can use spoon/fork to help move it around and fully coat), place the dipped oreo back on parchment the paper. Coat all of them and place the tray in the fridge for 10 mins to allow the coating to harden

-Melt the milk chocolate chips and place them in a piping bag or even a sandwich Ziploc bag for ease and speed, cut the tip of the bag all the way at the end, you do not want a thick line. Pipe the melted chocolate in a drizzle or polka dots or whatever pattern you’d like

– Chill for another 5-10 mins and serve!
