Green Bean Casserole





3 cans Green Beans

1 can Cream of Mushroom

1/2 Small Onion, thinly sliced

1/2 Container Mushrooms, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons Butter

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

1/3 cup Heavy Cream

1/3 cup Water


Parmesan Cheese

Fried Onions


In a skillet, melt the butter with the oil. Saute the onions until they are soft, add in the mushrooms and allow them to cook until soft.

In an 11×7 baking dish add in the strained green beans, cream of mushroom, water, heavy cream, salt, pepper and sauteed veggies.

Gently fold all the ingredients together until everything is incorporated.

Sprinkle a handful of shredded parmesan cheese.

Top with fried onion pieces.

Bake at 350 for about 15-20 mins or until golden on top.
